Allegiant Airlines is the ultra low-cost airline of the USA. The airline always tries to offer the best services to its passengers. In order to make its passengers' journey smooth and hassle-free, Allegiant Airlines offers many incredible services to its passengers. If there is any sudden change in your plan due to some unavoidable circumstances, then worry not, as Allegiant allows its passengers to cancel their reservation even at the last moment without any extra effort.
Allegiant Airlines cancellation policy allows its passengers to cancel the ticket in the next 24 hours from the time of booking and the airline does not insist on charging any kind of cancellation fee and the refund for this particular cancellation will be done to its original mode of payment. However if you want to cancel your ticket after 24 hours from the point of purchase, then a cancellation fee of $75 will be deducted from the total amount and the rest of the amount will be refunded back to the card that you used during booking.
If you happen to miss your flight or cancel before a week from the time of the departure then the airline will not provide any kind of refund.
If your flight gets cancelled by the airline, you are authorised to receive either a full ticket refund or a new flight. If the flight is cancelled after you have already arrived at the airport, then also you are liable to care. This includes two free phone calls, fax messages, or e-mails as well as refreshments in a reasonable relation to the waiting time and hotel accommodation when the cancellation necessitates an overnight stay.
In addition to a ticket refund and care, there are certain circumstances under which an air passenger may also be entitled to compensation for a cancelled flight:
The EU Regulation Nr. 261/2004 states that airlines should inform customers about cancellations at least 14 days prior to departure. If the airline fails to notify you in a timely manner, you could be entitled to €250 – €600 (per passenger) depending on the distance of the flight. The same applies to flights that are brought forward at short notice.
If you've been denied boarding or instinctively bumped from your flight, you will be entitled to compensation. U.S. and EU airlines must compensate you if you have a confirmed reservation, have checked in to your flight and arrived at the departure gate on time, and the airline cannot reroute you to arrive within one hour of your original arrival time.
