Chennai International Airport is one of the major airports in India, which is located at the city of Chennai. The airport is located 13 miles from the city centre. The airport registers a movement of 570 aircrafts and 30,000 passengers on a daily basis. The airport is the third biggest airport in terms of cargo capacity and fourth busiest airport in terms of passenger’s traffic. The airport metro station of the Chennai metro is the nearest to the Airport. Tirusulam railway station is a suburban railway station and locates nearest to the Chennai international airport.
The passenger terminal complex consists of the newer domestic and international terminals. These terminals are interconnected by a link building. The link building was the older international block and now a day, it houses administrative blocks and a restaurant. The airport is well connected with all kinds of conveyance and it is easy to reach from the airport to the main city.
