About Cochin International Airport

Cochin International Airport is a major international airport in the state of Kerala. The airport is located at Nedumbassery, which is approximately 25 kilometers northeast of the city. It is the busiest and the largest airport in the state of Kerala. It is also the fourth busiest airport in India, in terms of international traffic. The airport serves as a primary base for Air India Express operations. There are a total of three passenger terminals and one cargo terminal at this airport. Terminal 3 of this airport is one of the largest terminals in India. This airport is also the world's first fully solar-powered airport, having a dedicated solar plant. There is a dedicated cargo center at the eastern side of the airport. The cargo center is one of the largest in India, covering a total space of 11000 meters square.
