About Indira Gandhi International Airport

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), New Delhi is located at the south-west part of the city and busiest airport In New Delhi in terms of passenger traffic and cargo handling. The airport serves as a major hub for several domestic and international carriers like Air India, Air Asia, Go Air, Indigo Airlines, Spice Jet, vistara. Approximate 80 airlines are serving this airport.

There are three terminals working at this airport presently. T1 serves as domestic terminal and for low cost Indian carriers. T2 serves seasonally for Hajj passengers. The only terminal T3 serves as an international terminal for international and homegrown carriers for to and from Delhi flights.

The Airport is very well connected by roads, rail and Delhi Metro. Low-floored buses and auto-rickshaws are regularly plying between the city and airport terminals round the clock. Nearest railway station is Palam Railway Station. Airport is also connected with city centre by state of art Airport Express Line of Delhi Metro.
